Bow Creek Recovery Center offers residential treatment for drug addiction, alcohol addiction and gambling addiction.

We offer a full array of services to help you or a loved one overcome drug abuse, alcohol abuse or gambling abuse. We support you by offering a free flight from anywhere in the continental United States to our facility at Bow Creek. Please see our website for details.

We offer detox services that support you to be able to get off of the drug of your choice easily with as little discomfort as possible. We offer the support of Suboxone to help you with withdrawals from opiate use. The Suboxone helps to keep you from having cravings making it easier for you to become involved in our holistic residential rehab treatment program. For those with addictions to alcohol who are in severe withdrawals we have you monitored in a hospital setting for your safety as detox from alcohol can be dangerous. Once you are stable then we help you with a medication regime that will keep you from having cravings.

Another vital service for family members who want to help their loved ones to get treatment is our Intervention Services. We have a distinguished Interventionist who will help you to help your loved one to decide to get treatment. This is done in a gentle and supportive manner. It can be the very best way to help your loved one get alcohol residential treatment or drug residential treatment or gambling residential treatment.

Our program consists of a very well designed therapy program. Our highly-trained and caring therapists help you to see yourself more clearly so that you can create a new basis for a life without the use of drugs, alcohol or gambling. This is done with one-on-one therapy sessions and group therapy. Since we serve only 5 clients at a time you get a lot of individual attention. We find that this small group setting gives each of our clients the opportunity to grow and learn. A much better setting for recovery than a large and impersonal facility.

Our holistic program consists of help from our personal trainer, who assists you in developing a personal program that fits who you are. You also spend time at a state of the art gym that offers weight lifting equipment, circuit training, basketball courts, an indoor track, a rock climbing wall, swimming pools, a sauna and hot tub. At Bow Creek you are aided to learn more about nutrition and healthy eating with a session with our nutritionist. She guides you in good eating habits and better choices with food. Our chef prepares wonderful, very delicious food that is healthy. Our recovery program covers all of your needs so that when you begin your new life of sobriety you have a grounded basis from which to work.

Another part of our program is the 12 step programs. We teach you the 12 steps and take you to meetings so that you can see how helpful it is to have the support of others who are in recovery.

We are here to help you with your addiction, with detox and with guidance. Bow Creek offers you this at an affordable price.

Intervention Services offered to support your loved one who is addicted to alcohol or drugs.

What is an addiction intervention?

We at Bow Creek Recovery Center understand the experience of having someone that we care very deeply about who has a drug or alcohol problem. More than this we are aware of how difficult it can be to get the loved one to decide that they need treatment. Very often they must hit bottom, whatever that means for them, before the decision is made. Unfortunately hitting bottom can be as drastic as death.

An intervention creates a place for the person with the problem to understand how much you care about them. It is where they can decide to enter treatment with the support of those who love them and care about them. It is an experience that helps to educate the family about the disease of addiction and to help the family to understand their loved one in a deeper more meaningful way. The intervention supports the family to chose their own recovery. It also supports the recovered person to re-integrate back into the family in a positive and healthy manner. With the help of an Interventionist the whole family can be a part of the healing process.

Having a professional Interventionist work with your loved one is a way to avoid having your loved one hit bottom on their own. With the gentle professional help of a trained Interventionist your loved one and the whole family will be supported to make the choice to seek recovery before hitting bottom. Having a professional assist in this process can positively increase the chances of the one you love being admitted to a drug treatment program, an alcohol treatment program or a gambling rehab program.

Intervention at Bow Creek Recovery Center

We are connected with several very distinguished Interventionists who use a variety of intervention methods to assist the person to make a choice about their recovery. There are a variety of interventions available. Many of you have seen the TV show about Interventions on A & E. The method they use is called the Johnson Method. It is very confrontational. It is done in a matter of several hours. The person who the intervention is about may feel ambushed. The intervention happens and they are immediately taken to a rehab for treatment. This method does not allow the person to make a decision about their own recovery. This is only one method of intervention. It may be right for some people. If this is the method you are looking for then it is available through our highly-trained interventionists.

Our Interventionists offer a variety of other intervention methods as well. These include some that are not at all like the Johnson method. Several of the other methods that are used are gentle and caring, they involve the person with the addiction problem and the family and sometimes the workplace. One of these methods is called the Systemic Family Model. The main purpose of this intervention is to include everyone involved so that the person with the addiction problem helps to make the choice for themselves to get the help they need. Our Interventionists have had a very high rate of success in getting those in need to decide that it is time for residential drug treatment or residential alcohol treatment. By being a part of the decision the addicted person is then willing to be a part of the therapy that supports their recovery. When they are willing they choose to do the work that is so necessary for them to attain their chosen recovery from drug addiction and alcohol addiction.

At Bow Creek Recovery Center we want to support the whole family and the person with and addiction issue to chose to help themselves. This is why we offer Intervention Services. We have these caring, highly trained Interventionists available to support you and your entire family, to support your loved one, to get the help that they need. Call us toll free 1-888-505-1969 so that we may help you find the interventionist who is best suited for your loved one.

Residential drug and alcohol rehab uses Suboxone for detox from opiate use

Do you or someone you know have an addiction to opiates?

Some of the opiates are Codeine, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Vicodin, Talwin and Methadone (all of these prescribed by physicians for legitimate pain). The unfortunate truth is that even though these are prescribed by physicians they are addictive. Over time they do not work as well and the patient begins to seek more and more of the drug to overcome the pain. This can lead to going to many doctors as well as seeking illegal drugs on the streets. One other opiate is heroin which is a street drug.

Withdrawal from opiate addiction can be painful and difficult. The symptoms of opiate withdrawal are cold sweats, bone pain, anxiety, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and depression. The fear of withdrawals can prevent you or a loved one from choosing to enter rehab where you can get the help needed to live a better life.

Bow Creek Recovery Center’s Medical Directors are certified in Suboxone therapy treatment. They feel that supporting you through the process of detox with Suboxone gives you the opportunity to succeed. They monitor the use of Suboxone to prevent cravings. First you are given the amount of Suboxone that you need to prevent withdrawal symptoms. Once you are stabilized then the slow process of decreasing the Suboxone dosage is initiated. Since Suboxone prevents the feeling of craving it makes it much easier to do the therapeutic work that Bow Creek offers you so that you may start your new life free of opiate use.

One drug that is both offered by doctors and also found on the streets is Methadone. Methadone is a very addictive drug and can be very hard to get off of. Suboxone is the treatment of choice for Methadone abuse. Again, it helps to prevent the craving and withdrawal symptoms of opiate withdrawals. It supports you to the point that you are able to get off of the Suboxone and not have cravings for the Methadone.

We have seen real success with the use of Suboxone. We had a client who was addicted to Methadone. Within the first day they were not experiencing any withdrawal symptoms thanks to the administration of Suboxone. Over a period of time the Suboxone was slowly decreased. An added benefit was that the judge presiding over their legal problems around a drug related issue was very happy to hear that the client was on Suboxone. The judge felt that it was a good choice and could see that the client had not used any illegal drugs since his treatment began. The sentence he received reflected the judge’s positive opinion of the use of Suboxone.

Our goal at Bow Creek Recovery Center is to support you in the best possible way as you detox off of your opiate use. Suboxone is the best way that we can support you so that you can lead a healthy and successful life.
