We are a very intimate residential alcohol rehab that is available to the Portland, Oregon area.  We serve only 5 clients at a time.  This means that you or your loved one gets lots of individual attention.  You get one-on-one with your counselor.  You get to have group sessions with only 5 people total.  This means that we can really help you to learn about yourself and how to go  in the new direction that you have chosen.  If you have a loved one who is abusing alcohol we have a distinguished interventionist who can help you to help your loved one to get the help that they need.  We do a social model detox at Bow Creek Recovery Center.  Our Medical Director oversees our social model detox.  If you are in severe withdrawals from alcohol then you would need to be seen in a hospital for detox as it can be very dangerous.  Once you are here with us at Bow Creek Recovery Center you get lots of individual attention from our highly-trained counselors.  You get one-on-one attention from your counselor.  Since there are only 5 people in group you get a lot of time to work on what you need to learn to help you to go on in a new life.  We also teach the 12 step programs including AA.  This gives you the chance to experience what it is like to get the support of others as you continue your sobriety.  As well as all of this we are a holistic facility and offer a personal trainer, a nutritionist, a state of the art gym and a chef who prepares your food.

Our apporach to detox is a social model detox. If you are in severe withdrawals then we have you detox in a hospital setting which is the safest possible way for you to get past this stage. We then, under the supervision of our Medical Director, use medications to prevent you from having craving until you are balanced and then we slowly remove these drugs. It is a kind and gentle way of supporting alcohol detox.

Once they are at our facility they receive top notch supportive care. They receive 36 hours a week of therapy both in a small group setting and one-on-one. We are very intimate and serve only 5 clients at a time. So you or your loved one really receive the attention you deserve and need, to make new good choices for your own recovery. You receive training in 12 step programs and have the opportunity to attend programs to see how positive they are in supporting your chosen sobriety.
