Drug, alcohol and Gambling Residential Rehab for Brocton, Massachusetts

Help for drug, alcohol and gambling addictions for the residents of Brocton, Massachusetts

Bow Creek Recovery Center is a unique residential drug and alcohol rehab that is available to help the residents of Brocton, Massachusetts. We are unique in the residential drug, alcohol and gambling treatment arena because we are very small and therefore offer individual treatment for drug abuse, alcohol abuse or gambling abuse.

We have a distinguished Interventionist who will help your family to support your family member to choose to get treatment for their addiction. He does this in a gently and supportive manner. Sometimes this is the only way to help your loved one to choose to help themselves.

Next we offer a social model detox in which our Medical Director supports you with medications that help to prevent the pain of withdrawals. For those who are addicted to opiates the drug that is used is Suboxone. Suboxone helps to prevent the craving that comes with stopping use of opiates. Once a good balance is achieved so that you no longer crave the opiates then you are slowly detoxed from the Suboxone until you no longer need it and you no longer have cravings. For our people with alcohol addictions there are several ways in which you are supported. For your safety, if you are in severe withdrawals, which can be dangerous, we have you detoxed in a hospital until the severe withdrawal symptoms have gone away. Then we use medications monitored by our Medical Director to keep you from craving alcohol and as the craving is under control and you are stable then we stop the use of the meds. It is very important to us to support this time in your recovery so that it is as easy as possible.

Our high-level therapy team offers their incredible knowledge and support as you learn about yourself and are able to grow into a new experience in life that is drug, alcohol and gambling free. You will work with others in our therapeutic group sessions and you will have time with your counselor in one-on-one sessions. Each of these help you to learn about your addiction and how you can choose to be free of the addiction that has been controlling your life. Each cof you receives an individualized plan just for you which guides your growth and learning.

We also offer the holistic approach which includes time with our personal trainer, working on your own individual program. Then you spend time at the gym using the state of the art equipment. The gym offers weight lifting equipment, circuit training, an indoor track, basketball courts, a rock climbing wall, swimming pools, a sauna and hot tub. Back at Bow Creek Recovery Center you receive training in good eating habits from our nutritionist. When you sit down to a meal at Bow Creek you have the opportunity to enjoy our very tasty and healthy food prepared by our chef.

All of these services at a very affordable price. We, at Bow Creek Recovery Center are here to help you to gain new life free of addictions and drug, alcohol or gambling abuse. Life can be fun and rewarding without using these addictions.

Holistic approach with our personal trainer in Bow Creek's residential drug and alcohol rehab and detox center

A part of the holistic support offered by Bow Creek Recovery Center comes in the form of a personal trainer. Bow Creek makes sure to offer this holistic service to go along with the drug and alcohol rehab and detox services.

Our personal trainer, Jeanette Light, truly brings a new light into the lives of our residential drug and alcohol rehab clients. Jeanette offers personl instruction to each of our clients during each session that she has with them. Since our program is very discerning and we only have 5 clients at any one time each client receives very personal attention from Jeanette.

Jeanette provides a taylor made program for each client based upon their needs and goals. You can be very out of shape and she will guide you with good choices to bring you to a new understanding of your body and ways to make it healthy and strong.

Our clients love the days when Jeanette works with them. They do moan and groan that it is a Jeanette day since they know that they will get a great workout. It is their understanding that it will be a great day of workout and fun with Jeanette. They also understand that she will really work them to their best ability. It is this one-on-one attention that helps them to grow and become strong while they are learning new behaviors through therapy that will support a healthy life when they leave Bow Creek Recovery Center.

Jeanette is fun, kind, helpful and very supportive in her work. Everyone loves their time with her.

There is a really wonderful success story that I would like to share with you. We had a client who had been in a car accident and had been living in a back brace for years. When she came Jeanette started very gently and slowly adding to her program. As time went by she became much stronger and more able to lift the weights and do the stretches. By the last week of her stay she could stand upright with ease and no longer needed the back brace. So, she was supported to learn new behaviors during therapy to support her new life and she walked out of Bow Creek without her back brace. A true example of how the holistic approach helps our clients.

You will find that Bow Creek offers this and much more as we support you through residential drug and alcohol rehab, detox, therapy sessions, nutrition training and our special work out program.

Residential drug and alcohol rehab uses Suboxone for detox from opiate use

Do you or someone you know have an addiction to opiates?

Some of the opiates are Codeine, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Vicodin, Talwin and Methadone (all of these prescribed by physicians for legitimate pain). The unfortunate truth is that even though these are prescribed by physicians they are addictive. Over time they do not work as well and the patient begins to seek more and more of the drug to overcome the pain. This can lead to going to many doctors as well as seeking illegal drugs on the streets. One other opiate is heroin which is a street drug.

Withdrawal from opiate addiction can be painful and difficult. The symptoms of opiate withdrawal are cold sweats, bone pain, anxiety, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and depression. The fear of withdrawals can prevent you or a loved one from choosing to enter rehab where you can get the help needed to live a better life.

Bow Creek Recovery Center’s Medical Directors are certified in Suboxone therapy treatment. They feel that supporting you through the process of detox with Suboxone gives you the opportunity to succeed. They monitor the use of Suboxone to prevent cravings. First you are given the amount of Suboxone that you need to prevent withdrawal symptoms. Once you are stabilized then the slow process of decreasing the Suboxone dosage is initiated. Since Suboxone prevents the feeling of craving it makes it much easier to do the therapeutic work that Bow Creek offers you so that you may start your new life free of opiate use.

One drug that is both offered by doctors and also found on the streets is Methadone. Methadone is a very addictive drug and can be very hard to get off of. Suboxone is the treatment of choice for Methadone abuse. Again, it helps to prevent the craving and withdrawal symptoms of opiate withdrawals. It supports you to the point that you are able to get off of the Suboxone and not have cravings for the Methadone.

We have seen real success with the use of Suboxone. We had a client who was addicted to Methadone. Within the first day they were not experiencing any withdrawal symptoms thanks to the administration of Suboxone. Over a period of time the Suboxone was slowly decreased. An added benefit was that the judge presiding over their legal problems around a drug related issue was very happy to hear that the client was on Suboxone. The judge felt that it was a good choice and could see that the client had not used any illegal drugs since his treatment began. The sentence he received reflected the judge’s positive opinion of the use of Suboxone.

Our goal at Bow Creek Recovery Center is to support you in the best possible way as you detox off of your opiate use. Suboxone is the best way that we can support you so that you can lead a healthy and successful life.
