Bow Creek Recovery Center offers the finest of services for all Newport Rhode Island residents. We are a distinguished, intimate facility to assist you in overcoming drug addiction, alcohol addiction or gambling addiction. We only serve 5 clients at a time so each client receives direct attention. Our group sessions have only 5 clients in them. This means that you are heard and you can hear others as you all make new choices in your lives for your personal recovery.
For families who need help to help a loved one we offer intervention services. Our interventionist has worked in the counseling field for 30 years and is renown in the field. Don will gently help you and your loved one to make the choice to get the help that they need. Give us a call and see if Don can help your family.
We offer a social model detox that is overseen by our Medical Director, Dr. Stoune. Dr. Stoune is an addictionologist, so his speciality is to help people with addiction disorders. He really cares about your recovery. If your drugs of choice are opiates then we use Suboxone to keep you from having severe withdrawal symptoms and to prevent craving. Many of the prescription drugs that people use are opiates. We can make it so that your withdrawals are well controlled. If your drug of choice is alcohol then we must be very careful as it is a very dangerous drug to detox from. In this case for severe withdrawals you are carefully watched in a hopsital setting until you are clear of the alcohol and safe to come to Bow Creek Recovery Center. We then continue your program with medications that help you to not crave alcohol. We do the best for you to make it as comfortable as possible as you get off of your drug or alcohol of choice.
Then you come to our therpaeutic part of our program in which you recive many hours of therapy and group therapy. With only 5 clients you recieve the attention you need and deserve. Our counselors have Master's degrees and Bachelor's degrees. They are highly trained, compassionate and supportive. We also offer training in the 12 step programs and take you to meetings for AA, NA and GA. This way you have a basis to find support when you return home.
All of this and we are a holistic program and offer you a personal trainer, a state of the art gym, a nutritionist and a chef. You are well cared for at Bow Creek Recovery Center.
