Our approach starts with the possibility of an intervention for a family member if needed. The intervention's that are supported by Bow Creek Recovery Center involve the whole family and everyone is supported to attain the goal of having your loved one choose to get help.
Then we offer a social model detox. In this approach we create the situation where you do not have to suffer a lot of pain and discomfort as you detox. For opiate abusers we offer Suboxone treatment. By taking Suboxone you do not feel the craving that comes from stopping the use of opiates. Once you are stabilized on the Suboxone then you are slowly detoxed off of it so that you can feel comfortable as you reach the point where you have learned not to use the opiates. Alcohol withdrawals can be much more difficult. For those in severe withdrawals which includes the DT's the safe approach is to spend a little time in the hospital detoxing from the substance. Once the DT's, which can be dangerous, are over with then you will come to Bow Creek Recovery Center where our Medical Director will oversee medications that support you so that you do not crave the alcohol.
Our therapeutic approach offers one-on-one and group sessions. You receive an individual treatment plan that addresses who you are and what you need in order to succeed. We have very highly trained counselors who are dynamic and supportive.
The holistic aspect of our approach to your residential treatment comes in the form of a personal trainer who's sets up a program for you, a nutritionist who teaches you good eating habits and our personal chef who prepares delicious and nutritious food.
