PRESIDENT

Linda Dengler, RN 

Linda brings this family run facility to you. She has several years of experience in business management and oversight. She spent 20 years working as an R.N., 7 of those years specifically in the treatment of heroin addiction, as well as multiple drug and alcohol addictions. She brings her knowledge and experience in the fact, that all people have the ability to create the lives that they want to create for themselves. Her firm belief is that as Bow Creek Recovery Center supports your ability to overcome the experience of addiction, you will be able to make greater choices for yourself, and open doors to the life that you really want for yourself.

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

DonMedrano Tennison MSW, MAC

DonMedrano has had the privilege of working in the helping profession for 27 years. During that time he has held positions from administrator to clinician and educator. One of his many accomplishments include 2nd Judiciary Juvenile Family Court in Hawaii as a Child Custody Department Supervisor. He currently holds a position with the State of Idaho Department of Corrections at the South Boise Women's Correctional Facility, implementing Treatment Community Track, Cognitive Self-Change, and Relapse Prevention groups, and facilitates all Chemical Dependency Education for the female Rider Program. In Hawaii Don developed, organized and implemented the First Annual Maui Chemical Dependency Conference. He was also employed by the ADA County Juvenile Court Services in Boise, Idaho.  Don is a chemical dependency expert and has been recruited to speak at state conferences and on national radio about marijuana and other drugs.  Among his many accomplishments Don has developed effective practices for working with families and hard to reach clients.  Don brings his expertise to our program and to all of our clients and their families .

VICE PRESIDENT

Ken Dengler

Ken brings years of experience in rehabilitation care from his own elder care assisted living facility. Ken is open to sharing with and being suppportive of our clients and supporting their growth and development. He brings management skills, and the ability to be with our clients, as a significant support person.  Ken also brings his marketing skills to Bow Creek Recovery Center.

CHEF

Shelia Dengler-Shaw

Shelia brings her many years of creative cooking experience to our clients. Shelia was the chef for her own assisted living facility for the elderly. Shelia's passion is creating beautiful, nutritious, home made food, filled with fresh (preferably organic) ingredients that offer delicious flavors.

NUTRITIONIST

Darcy Gans-Below CDM, CFPP, LD,RD

Having worked in all types of foodservice settings including hospitals, nursing and retirement homes, hotels and restaurants, and recently as adjunct professor at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. Darcy is experienced in tailoring nutrition information and meal service to the individual. Darcy will bring nutrition classes to Bow Creek Several times a week.

PERSONAL TRAINER

Jeanette Light holds certification with ISSA, is a Pilate's coachand and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Dow.

Jeanette has been a personal trainer in the Treasure Valley for 7 years. She has worked closely with chiropractors, massage therapists and other trainers to round out and expand her knowledge and experience. She has gained perspective with her life experiences which help her to support her clients to gain self-esteem and confidence. She loves her work and the opportunity to share with others. Jeanette will be at Bow Creek several times a week to offer personal training.
