Overview of our Aftercare Program
Experience has shown, that the quickest way to fall into a relapse cycle is to begin the process of selective isolation. Relationships have a way of withering on the vine if they are not nurtured by continuous contact. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to stay in touch with us. Naturally, we can do only what you will allow, but the following program of disciplined contact is our way of ensuring that you have the support you may need after you leave Bow Creek Recovery Center, to maintain an addiction free lifestyle.
At Bow Creek, we believe that the lack of a good follow up plan is where many addiction treatment programs fail. In addition, we hope that, in the time that you spend here, we have formed a mutually respectful and professional relationship, that will last long after your recovery.
Our fee for treatment includes our aftercare program.

Here is the plan:
- You phone us at least once a week for the first month
- You report back with the letters supplied once each month.
- Attend at least one meeting a week.
- Attend alumni group weekly.
- We may contact your sponsor if we do not hear from you.
- Report on the letter any change of address or phone number.
- If you have any special needs or just feel like talking, call us.
As with everyone, the first year of abstinence may be very difficult and discouraging. Sharing the troubled times with another who has been there, will make it easier.
